About Carbohydrazide Powder

This chemical is an alternative to the hazardous and potentially carcinogenic hydrazine. In order to make water and nitrogen and urea this chemical is react with oxygen. Usage
Used in fuel of jet, used as an oxygen scavenger for water boiler feed and heating systems to prevent corrosion, used as a reducing agent for the recovery of precious metals, etc..
When used as de-oxidant in boiler, put this product into water or use its water solution, the dosage of 0.5mol or above of carbohydrazide for 1mol O2 is preferred. The suitable temperature range is 87.8-176.7oC. The reaction for carbohydrazide with O2 is CON4H6+ 2O2= 2N2 + 3H2O + CO2
Handling and Storage
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid formation of dust and aerosols.
- Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed.
- Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
- In case of fire, use Use water spray, dry chemical or carbon dioxide as extinguisher.
- Environmentally Hazardous Substance, Solid, N.O.S. Hazard Class 9, UN number 3077.
Package and storage
25Kg/bag, 25Kg/fiber drum, customers' requirements. Storage for one year in shady room and dry place.
